This is what the next generation is up to! Pride Live (Sat, June 19, 26 4-5:30pm) Show off your queer trivia knowledge and learn exciting tidbits about queer history and contemporary queer culture from the friendly team at the ArQuives. Trivia with The ArQuives (Wed, June 18 and 23 5-6pm) You know anything hosted by Devine is going to be a party. We attended this bingo game last year, and it was a fucking hoot. Mango hosts a queer shopping channel show showcasing local makers! Yohomo will be featured here so don’t miss it! You can drinks so you stay hydrated, and don't forget the sunscreen, umbrella just in case of a shower. The parade started at 2 pm and is best to find your spot from where you will see it about 1 to 1.5 hours prior. The parade is anywhere between 3-4 hours and covers the full gamut of LGBTQ people, organizations and allies, families, new friends you will make, even Canada's prime minister! Yes it is a huge source of revenue for the city but it is done in a very organized way and welcoming to everyone. They promote it everywhere, tv, public advertisement, and even cover the parade on tv. It is incredible to see how the whole downtown area turns up the rainbow for diversity. as well on Dundas & Younge plaza, from music, dancing, performances, eating. We were there for the main weekend and there were many things to do on Church St. PRIDE celebration in Toronto is incredible, not only is it a great weekend to celebrate but it technically runs through the month of June.
